These terms govern your use of The Nightstand Co. website and your purchase of our products. By placing an order you agree to them.

2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to buy from us.
3. Products and descriptions
We describe our products as accurately as we can, including specifications supplied by our manufacturers. Product photography is representative; minor variation in colour, finish and packaging is normal and isn't grounds for a defect claim, though it is covered by the 30-night trial.
Where we quote a technical figure — such as the 32dB noise reduction rating on the earplugs, or headband battery life — that figure is the manufacturer's stated specification, measured under their test conditions. Real-world results vary with fit, environment and use.
4. These are not medical devices
Our products are general consumer goods for comfort and sleep environment. They are not medical devices. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and nothing on this site is medical advice.
If you have a persistent sleep problem, or you think you may have a sleep disorder, please speak to a doctor rather than relying on a product from us. Do not use earplugs or a sleep mask in any situation where you need to hear or see an alarm or emergency signal.
5. Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send a confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order — for example if an item is unavailable, a price was listed in error, or we suspect fraud — and if we do, we'll refund you in full.
6. Pricing and payment
Prices are in US dollars and include any import duties. Applicable sales tax is calculated at checkout. Payment is taken at the time of order through our payment processor; we don't store your card details.
7. Shipping, returns and refunds
Delivery is governed by our shipping policy, and returns by our returns policy. Both form part of these terms.
8. Acceptable use
Don't use this site to break the law, interfere with its operation, scrape it at scale, or resell our products as your own. We may restrict access if you do.
9. Intellectual property
The Nightstand Co. name, site content, photography and copy are ours or licensed to us, and may not be reproduced commercially without permission.
10. Reviews and submissions
If you send us a review, photo or comment, you give us permission to display it in connection with our products. We'll publish reviews as written — we don't edit them to remove criticism, and we don't publish reviews we wrote ourselves.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The site is provided as-is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't lawfully be excluded — and nothing here affects your statutory consumer rights.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
